BROTHER NIGHT

Brother Night is a Christian group that hosts meetings to develop and enhance the lives of men through teaching and fellowship so that they may grow in their faith. Brother Night is not affiliated with any denomination or church and was started by a group of men in North Carolina with a single meeting each month. BN has grown and now hosts weekly in person meetings. We also host online meetings that we call "Brother Night Live."

If you have arrived at this website and you are seeking meaning to your life and want to learn what Faith in Christ is all about or you have been a Christian for decades and want to be encouraged in your Faith, please join us by clicking subscribe above. You will receive both a newsletter and a text reminder of each meeting.

What happens at a BN gathering? There is usually a study of God's Word, Open Discussion or Testimony and prayer requests. If you have a prayer need, please bring it to BN. BN men will sincerely pray.

OVER 7 YEARS AGO IN EARLY OCTOBER AT 3 A.M. GOD AWAKENED ME FROM A DREAM OF MEN IN A ROOM EATING, LAUGHING, CRYING, SINGING, CLAPPING, HUGGING ONE ANOTHER AND PRAYING OVER EACH OTHER IN THE LOVE OF JESUS!!! SO I PRAYED AND ASKED THE LORD “WHAT IS THIS THAT YOU HAVE PUT IN MY SPIRIT” AND THE NAME CAME…
”BROTHERNIGHT”! SO I GOT UP AND STARTED NOTING SOME THINGS ABOUT THIS FUTURE GATHERING OF MEN! THEN, THE HOLY SPIRIT LED ME TO HEBREWS 10:23-25 WHICH BECAME OUR FOUNDATIONAL PASSAGE OR “THE HEARTBEAT” OF THIS COMMUNITY MENS MINISTRY GATHERING! THEN THE HOLY SPIRIT SAID, GET STARTED NOW! SO WE STARTED SHORTLY THEREAFTER WITH “12” MEN AT GEPPETTOS PIZZA ON SPRINGS ROAD IN HICKORY, ALL LEFT “BUILT UP IN THEIR FAITH” AND WE REALIZED IT WAS A REAL TIME OF “BROTHERLY LOVE” ON DISPLAY; UP CLOSE AND NEEDED!

TO ME NOW AFTER OVER 7 YEARS IT STILL BRINGS TEARS TO MY EYES AND JOY TO MY HEART WHERE MEN HAVE GATHERED MANY TIMES TO “TESTIFY AND PRAISE THE NAME OF JESUS TOGETHER”!!!

I PRAY WE WILL CONTINUALLY DESIRE TO LIFT THE NAME OF JESUS HIGH, WHEREVER WE GO!
SO, AS WE CONTINUE TO GATHER MONTHLY I JUST SEE THESE TIMES AS A “MINI MENS REVIVAL”, IF YOU WILL, AND WHY NOT THINK THAT WAY!? FOR ME PERSONALLY IT HAS BEEN THAT AND OH HOW WE NEED “MORE AND MORE” OF IT, AMEN ANYBODY? LOVE YOU ALL IN JESUS…OUR SAVIOR, LORD, MASTER, KING AND BEST FRIEND!!!

We currently host a weekly online meeting/prayer time every Thursday at noon (eastern time) that anyone in America can join.

Our Story

Statement of Faith

Bible - We believe the Bible to be the only inspired, trustworthy and true, without error, Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
Trinity - We believe there is only one God who eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)
Virgin Birth - We believe Jesus Christ is God, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His death that paid for, our sin through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension/rising up to the right hand of the Father and in His personal return in power and glory. (John 1:1; Matthew 1:18,25; Hebrews 4:15; Hebrews 9:15-22; 1 Corinthians 15:1-8; Acts 1:9-11; Hebrews 9:27-28)
Saviour - We believe in receiving Jesus Christ and the corresponding renewal of the Holy Spirit are the only paths to salvation for lost/sinful men and women. (John 3:16; John 5:24; Titus 3:3-7)
Holy Spirit - We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who lives within and guides Christians so they are enabled to live godly lives. (John 14:15-26; John 16:5-16; Ephesians 1:13-14)
Jesus - We believe in eternal life, and that through belief in Jesus Christ as the Son of God, we spend eternity with the Lord in Heaven. We believe that in rejecting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we receive eternal suffering in hell. (Matthew 25:31-46; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
Marriage - We believe God’s design for sexual intimacy is to be expressed only within the context of marriage, that God created man and woman to complement and complete each other. God instituted marriage between one man and one woman as the foundation of the family and the basic structure of human society. For this reason, we believe that marriage is exclusively the union of one man and one woman. (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:5-6; Mark 10:6-9; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9)
Life -We believe that God created all human beings in His image. Therefore, we believe that human life is sacred from conception to its natural end. BN believes in following Christ’s example, we believe that every person should be treated with love, dignity and respect. (Psalm 139:13; Isaiah 49:1; Jeremiah 1:5; Matthew 22:37-39; Romans 12:20-21; Galatians 6:10)
